A Seaside Celebration of Music and Community

Three days of music, spirit, and connection inspired by the legacy of the Grateful Dead and Bob Weir

Join us in Ventura for an unforgettable weekend where longtime stewards of the music and new voices alike gather to share in the songs, stories, and spirit that continues to bring people together generation after generation. With the Pacific Ocean as our backdrop, Maybe It Was The Roses brings together an incredible line-up of musicians, late-night performances, and a welcoming community of music lovers from across the country.

What To Expect

Three Days Of Live Music – A stellar lineup celebrating the music of the Grateful Dead and the enduring creative legacy of Bob Weir.

Late-Night Ballroom Performances – After the outdoor shows end, the music continues inside the Crowne Plaza Rooftop Ballroom with special late-night sets and immersive performances

A Living History Of The Music – Photographers Jay Blakesberg and Joshua Hitchens, along with some special guests, will curate a special gallery highlighting Bob Weir both on stage and behind the scenes.

A Community Gathering – Golden Road Festival exists for one reason: to bring people together. Through live music and shared moments, we create welcoming spaces where friendships form, ideas are exchanged, and a sense of connection continues to grow long after the final note. Ventura County welcomes YOU!
